Feel free to add me. I will usually add you back :-) I recently moved with my amazing husband namhyunsu to Kalamazoo, Michigan. I am looking forward to starting our lives together in our new home and as husband and wife. He is my soul mate, my other half, my best friend. I am a hopeful romantic and believe that our love will last beyond the grave. I moved to Michigan to pursue my PhD in Sociology at Western Michigan University. I am blessed with the opportunity to teach while studying. I love it. Teaching gives me reasons to get out of bed in the morning. It is one of the most satisfying, rewarding, and altruistic things to do. And I get paid for it. I consider myself lucky. As for moving, I am thrilled to be out of the desert. This Washingtonian loves her rain and humidity. I just finished my M.A. in Applied Sociology and a certificate in Applied Statistics at Northern Arizona University in Flagstaff, Arizona. I graduated in May 2005 with my B.A. in Sociology from Washington State University in Pullman, Washington. Once a Coug, Always a Coug. I bleed crimson. I am 26 and am a Gemini (very much so). I love my zodiac symbol. I enjoy taking pictures, partying, reading, drinking, shopping, sleeping, exercising, writing poems, dancing, and sending/receiving mail. I believe in laughter. I have become a health nut eating organic food 99.9% of the time and slowly but surely becoming a vegetarian. One of these days I will resist the temptation of sweet and sour chicken. I am anal about organization and cleaning, as well as finances. People who keep shit and clutter drive me crazy as well as those that cannot control their finances. I enjoy intellectual talks as well as some good chitchat and gossip with my girl friends. I enjoy laundry. Cleaning is relaxing. I am early to everything. I do not drive. I prefer natural ways of transportation such as walking or riding a bike. Saving the planet and losing calories at the same time is the way to go. Mass transportation comes in as a second favorite. I daydream about reaching my goals and what I would do with a lot of money. I still know my best friend from kindergarten, she moved me to Flagstaff and was my witness at my wedding. I colored my hair for over 8 years and have recently grown out my natural color. I have had my eyebrows and tongue pierced, but now they are healed and gone. I also have two tattoos between my shoulder blades and can’t wait to get more. I love flowers, daisies for their look, roses for their smell, and carnations for their lifespan. I love traveling. I backpacked around Europe last summer by myself for six weeks. It was one of the, if not THE, greatest experience I’ve ever had. The sooner I get back over there, the better. I love surprises, but never ever plan me a surprise party. I am addicted to the internet. I love authentic Mexican and Italian food and eating avocados plain. I love drinking tea and drink between 3-5 cups a day, but graduate school has made me a coffee addict. Mm.. Peppermint Mochas. I love attending drag shows, musicals, and the ballet. I am quite liberal and am counting down the days until we have a new president. I want to live in Canada some day. I would give up my citizenship for a Canadian or French one in a heart beat. Any western European citizenship in 2 heart beats. Call me anti-American if you want. I am proud to strongly despise my country. There are too many things we are doing wrong. I am in love with a toddler, but never want kids. Believe me when I say that. I will however become the married cat lady. Bring on the furry babies. I am not anti-life, I am pro-choice. Learn the difference. I have not spoken to my mom in ~7 years, my dad and I are closer than ever, and my cousin is like my brother. I love watching football and will scream at the TV. Don’t expect to make plans with me on Saturdays during the fall. If you need me, I will be in front of the TV, hopefully watching my Cougs. I love watching storms, doing math, and learning about the holocaust. I want to meet Jay Leno. I love wearing my pjs most of the time, but love getting dressed up to go out. I am independent, strong, unique, emotional, happy, secretive, open, friendly, loving, caring, dedicated, and am very much in love.
